Brand new here, but have been on the site many times in lurk mode. Found this site through the thirdgen.org site.

Working on an 89 Firebird Formula 350 w/ 165 ECU. Got it running well, took it out on a few shakedown cruises and had the MAF die from what I can tell.

Figured I would switch over to a 730 ECU and go SD since another MAF costs almost as much as the conversion.

I am sure I will need help once I really get started on the tune, I came out tonight to look for a good starting bin for the $8D mask.

For a 700R4 automatic transmission, I've had good results using the AUJP.bin file as a starter .bin.

Thanks Dave. I downloaded it and checked it out. Wow are there a lot more things in the SD files than in the MAF tune. This ought to be an adventure.

I use Log File Analyzer for tuning $8D, see attached.
