Does anybody know the correct PID number and mode for ENGINE OIL PRESSURE?
I'm trying to set some gauges using Torque Pro android app and a OBDlink MX bluetooth adapter.
All gauges work correctly but OIL PRESS doesn't. I loaded the GM predefined list and there is a OIL Press PID present but it doesn't work (PID 221470).
I can datalog it using HPTuners, it lists OIL PRESSURE as PID 2112, I tried it in both Dec and Hex with no success.

The vehicle is a 2005 Silverado, 5.3L with P59 PCM, 4L60E

I didn't think that the PCMs for the Gen 3 truck engines get an oil pressure signal.

I didn't think that the PCMs for the Gen 3 truck engines get an oil pressure signal.

The 1999 to 2002 Trucks didn't (they had a 1 wire Oil Pressure Sender), but the 2003 to 2007 (classic) Trucks did - they had a 3 wire Oil Pressure Sensor.

Well I just figured it out.
The correct settings are:

PID: 22115c
Min Value: 0
Max Value: 100
Scale: x1
Unit: psi
Equation: (A*0.65)-17.5
OBD Header: Auto

I found this in a GTO forum. Didn't think it was going to work but what the hell. Well it worked, the gauge in now displaying Oil Pressure, it follows the mechanical gauge +/- 4 psi. Going to tweak the formula a bit to get it closer.

Thanks
