Hi there, I'm another new guy saying hello. Am looking at doing a 411 conversion on my 97 k2500 service truck.

Have you done, or are planning on some engine modifications for the 97 K2500? A common reason to upgrade to the '0411 is for tuning purposes. The original "Black Box" PCM is not well supported by the aftermarket, whereas the '0411 has aftermarket support for tuning a modified engine.

From a driveability standpoint the 0411 stock for stock vs a Black box runs better. The 0411 is much more refined.

am looking to do more upgreads later, may do headers soon. doing the 411 upgread for the tunabality right now. and to just learn.
