I'm having trouble chasing blms. Idle and deceleration are driving me nuts! seems like the more fuel I cut, the worse they get!
Also, I'm experiencing a tip-in stumble. I suspect AE, but don't know how to adjust.
Ive also got a lean long acceleration issue to solve. Again, suspect AE, but not sure what to adjust.

I figured out ae and de.
Besides ve, what other adjustments trim idle blms?
I'm seeing 100-ish blms and the more ve i cut, the lower the blm and worse it idles. Doesn't make sense.

You may also need to adjust timing to get a good idle as well.

It's a 2.8 v6. It likes higher idle. Right now, it's set at 950. I haven't played with timing at all. Howe does it effect blm? Advanced=increased blm, or lower?

timing doesn't directly effect BLM, and btw is not a very good way to tune IMO.

What timing does is effect how complete the burn is. The sooner the spark happens the more complete the burn will be, up to the point when the burn is complete before the piston is in a position where that burn can be utilized to make power, ;)

Do you have an AFR gauge?

No. No afr guage.

I did all this at once, so not sure which one helped, butI subtracted 2 from 0%tps in the ve adder scaler, and added 2° to the idle and low rpm of the main timing table. It's definitely woken up the lower rpm range, so apparently, I've got more work to do in that area :)
Thanks!
