Could this EPROM work in a 1227747 ecm:

In those days there were some slow PROMs and Fast PROMS. A fast burn PROM will work with a slow ECM. The Slow burn PROMS won't work in the Fast ecms. Don't ask which is what - Age I guess... I have some of both if you want them.

considering a C3's processor has an E-clock of just over 1MHz, you can get away with some fairly slow PROMs.

Now what are fast Proms? I haven't converted pcm yet to 411. Still using OBD2 LT1 pcm.
using 28F512/28F010 150 chips. The 28F512's are getting harder to find.... Or getting spender
and if there is something else that will work I'm all for it and probably more cost effective.
