I wanted to download the LS1Flash V1.07 and my Norton Security says it is a Virus (Trojan Gen2) and will not allow it to be downloaded. I can't imagine it actually being a virus. Does anyone know how to get this to load on my Windows 7 laptop or should I stay away from it. I just don't see how it is possible to be a virus.

I don't know much about it but I'd be surprised if its a virus. I'll try getting a copy tonight at home if it isn't resolved by then.

There's this from an earlier version...

And this, on Gearhead..

I haven't gotten it to work yet either but I don't need it yet. I tried it first on my XP laptop and got the same thing. Tried it on my Windows 7 machine and it wanted the .NET framework installed. I suspect it's your environment not the application.

Thanks Guys,
I figured it was safe. I just can't figure out how to tell Norton to allow it.

Can't you disable Norton?

There should be a place in Norton where you can have the program excluded from nortons scan. There are some programs that it thinks that it is a virus by its code but just go in and add it to the excluded area and you may have to disable Norton to install it and then add it so it excludes it then reinable it afterwards and you will be good to go.

You need Ralph. Ralph can talk Norton into anything.
