Setup Rundown:

77 4 bolt "010" 350 block .030 over
Speed-pro flat-top hyper. pistons
Vortec 062 heads, with valve guide bosses cut down and screw in studs
About 9.6:1 compression
Chevy Performance 1.5 stamped rockers
Hardened Pushrods
Edelbrock Performer RPM 7116 Vortec 4 barrel intake
Trans-dapt TBI adapter
91 9C1 Caprice TBI unit with 65 lb injectors, 18 psi spring in reg, and a TPI Fuel Pump
Comp Cams XE 12-256-4 cam
Long Tube headers
160 degree thermostat
Built 700R4 with 2800 stall

This is all currently going into my 92 Caprice LTZ
My question is will this setup run on a 93 LTZ 350 chip (AYKC) just long enough for me to break in the flat tappet cam? About 30 minutes at 2000-2500 rpm? After break in will it be safe to drive it on this program until I'm able to find someone close by to tune it or save up and get a mail order chip?

Also since I'm going from an L03 305 to flat tappet 355 what knock sensor and esc module would I go with? I wouldnt just use one from a L05 350 since they are roller, am I right? I'm guessing I'd need one from a early TBI truck with flat tappet is this correct?

Thanks,
Seth

It might, but you'd be better off getting a starter chip from someone here. I'd want to start with something that has injectors and fuel pressure taken into account at a minimum. For the knock and ESC, I'd agree with going with the truck components (but I don't play with the car systems much, so take what I say with a grain of salt).
