Wondering what you guys recommend for board soldering. I have one of the flexible neck lighted magnified units but find that the light gets in the way on occasion...plus the lens itself is clear plastic and not consistently sharp as far as focus.

Was think about trying a jewelers headset type with led and magnified "glass" lenses?

I personally don't use the jewelers headset type, many of my co-workers do! I favor using the microscope for surface mount soldering.

i don't use any type of magnification, but I do have a 7 LED headlamp(usually operated in the 1 LED mode) that is almost always used while soldering.

Thanks guys..my age is catching up..so I need the magnification. Looking for a set with glass lenses vs the plastic units.
