1989 1 ton chevy 454-th400 truck. 90,000 miles

Current setup on ecu is Moates 24>28 pin, G2x tbi switching adapter, zif, 27sf512 chip, apu1, tuner pro:

just got all up and running yesterday. did a short datalog. using (AKUN 89 truck 7.4tbi 3 speed auto.bin)
($42-1227747-V4T.xdf) and ($42-1227747-V3T.adx)

Question is: IAC desired idle is at 750 rpm on all cels (idle in tuner-pro shows rpm at 1000-1200) when i try and change idle rpm there is no change. When I shut down the motor and restart check engine light is on and IAC is wide open. I have to change all the cels back to 750 and restart motor (sometimes 2 or 3 times) to get idle back and happy light again.:mad1:

looking foreward to figuring out tuner pro and them bin files!

Are you trying to emulate with an autoprom? If so did you change the mask in the bin to AA?

That sounds like limp home mode. When that happens, timing goes to base timing and iac pegs open. At least every time it has happened to me anyways. Also, every time it happened to me, I had to unhook the battery to reset the ecm before I could get it to go back to normal.
