6395 egr question

I have 6395 pcm, BHDF bin. Modded 454 that is going back in won't have egr. The stock version has an egr that has pintle position feedback. So even though I turn off enough perameters that will keep it from working will the pcm still be looking for pintle position? If I Unset code 32 egr failure will that just make the normal operation including CEL ignore the egr?

You can max out the temperature for EGR ON to 151.3 and possibly set minimum speed for egr to 255 and this should disable it. Usually all qualifiers have to be met before it is enabled.You can then turn off the error code for egr.
