I purchase a 1986 k20 for my son the guy gave us a complete running 305 out of a 1989 c10 i have it complete with the harness on the engine would like to retain the TBI do i need to remove the harness and thin it out or is there a easier way ?

Interesting question. Yes, there could be an easier way depending on time and budget. Remove the necessary TBI parts except the harness, then buy a plug-n-play aftermarket TBI harness.
