New to the group, I want to learn which is the best efi setup for a 420hp 400 sbc, would like to stay with tbi if possible.

Opinions might vary ... Using TBI for a 420hp / SBC is possible. I would start with a BBC 454 system with 90lb injectors / 670 CFM throttle body and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

I think a better option for a 420hp / SBC would be the EFI system pictured below.

thank you Dave, I'll look for a big block tbi as a starting point, the aftermarket efi setups are beyond the budget currently.
