Hi everyone. I am still learning and have all the tools. I have the 86 Camaro with the ZZ4, 24lb Bosch 3 injectors and the TPIS mini ram. I learned how to play with the MAF tables but I'm still unsure how to adjust the base pulse width vs Load(LV8).
LV8 means load right? And I am using a $32B mask and there is no definition file that will show me an LV8 value for datalogging. Can anyone help me out here? How do I go about adjusting this table? Thanks.

I'm thinking $32B has injector flow, not Base Pulse Width.

Maybe you have a different $32B .xdf than I'm using?

That's a scalar. I have that to but I am talking about the Base Pulse Width table.

It appears to me the table is MAF Grams per second vs. Engine RPM, with the "Z" axis as a limit (maximum) on how many millisecond the injector can flow?

I think the attached .adx will help?

You would be farther ahead of the curve IF you moved to the 1989 6E ecm code. The software on the back half of the chip is the latest and last GM wrote for this 165 ecm and is much better. You would have to transfer a few cals but the benefit is well worth it. It would be nice to "Translate" the cals from the 86 to the 89 like we did at work. This would take a few hours of knowing every cal and it's meaning on both sets.

I move to the last year used when I select a controller to gain the benefits. GM did all the work and corrected and enhanced the code to function the best.

One item you can see the diff on 86 vs. 89 is the Mode 4 commands you can write for overrides. The 86 has to have continual mode 4 commands sent, where the 89 only has to execute one. But the 89 you have to send a stop or null mode 4 when you are finished with your over ride to stop the override. Idle control via IAC position or RPM, Fans, clear Block learn cells.

I have tried 6E but for some reason the car runs horrible when it's cold. I am very close to a good tune and don't want to start all over again. I just want to know how I adjust the base pulse width table???

Not for a while because I have the car in storage but what values are on that file? 32b is not very detailed at all.

I don't a vehicle available to me that uses $32B. I am interested in seeing what I can figure out with a $32B .xdl file using TurnerPro RT.

I don't have an answer. I would look at the data, figure a safe adjustment and data log to see what happens.
