almost done with my crank trigger figured id start a new thread I have to chuck the aluminum rod in the lathe and turn it down to make my dowel to keep the reluctor centered to the pulley. I have a MSD 6LS box im going to run the tunnel ram and COP ignition before I swap my single plane efi set up on.

Ok I got the dowl made up so far no outer runout though a slight left to right at abt .05 ill tweak it a bit though it probably wouldn't disrupt the signal.

Neat work.

Does anyone have a source for information on how the 24x wheel and pickup works, ie the signals, how they are used and how they match to the crank angle? Just curious, I've used engines with the pickup but wouldn't mind trying a swap onto an older engine one day.

Good info, I can see how the signals match up to the front plate on the wheel but what's the rear plate and teeth used for?
