Post a copy here so we can see what mask id is. The mask used can depend on tranny type and with a 3/4 ton cal either trans is possible.

Posting the .bin file your using would be very helpful.

Maybe your needing a stock .bin file? http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/showthread.php?303-16197427-PCM-Information-0D

I think you will have to modify a stock .bin file, because you are using an old TH350 which was never used with the '7427 computer you have.

Tell us EVERYTHING you need in the .bin file! Tell us EVERYTHING that has been done to the vehicle and engine!

Ok I got the ecm and other parts from 95 van im using it in a 78 monte carlo 87 or 88 350 chevy tbi engine stock crank and rods mild after market lunatti cam edelbrock tbi intake upgraded valve train stock tbi heads non computer controlled 70' th350 trying not to use egr or speed sensor or knock just o2 short length headers anything to can tell me to use or not use im just a beginner I had the set up running a few times on a stock 305 it seem to run a couple mins and then cut out

For starters, make sure your injectors and .bin match your engine size. Injectors for a 350 are normally marked with orange & black paint on top and the part numbers end in 206. If your injectors end in 279, they're for a 305.

trying not to use speed sensor or knock

That's NOT a good plan if you want to use a '7427 TBI computer. I think a beginner would have better success using a '7747 computer if the plan is to eliminate speed sensor and knock sensor.

The thing is I already removed the wires for the knock sensor and vss I imagine it wouldnt be to hard to replace them

But if u say it would be easier to get the 7747 I found one at local junk yard good price but should I get a harness of the same vehicle or will the one I have work I dont seem to understand why ! 88 ecm on a tbi engine isn't a tbi ecm but the other newer one is tbi ecm and if im running tbi why wouldn't I want the tbi ecm

The quick answer, the '7427 computer is really a Powertrain Control Module (PCM) designed for operating the TBI and 4L60E / 4L80E transmission shifting. The '7747 is an Engine Control Module (ECM) only. The harness is not the same, you will need a '7747 ECM computer and '7747 Harness. The '7747 has a "Park" switch input. Wiring the '7747 to be in "Park" all the time will eliminate the need for a VSS. The PROM of the '7747 needs to be reprogrammed to eliminate emission and knock. Usually the '7747 is found in V8 TBI trucks from 1987 to 1990.

Ground ECM pin B-10 orange wire with a black stripe (org/blk) to ground black wire with a white stripe (blk/wht).

I posted the '7747 ECM $42 .xdf definition file used to edit the .bin file, and the .adx definition file used for data logging.

The attached asdu9567.bin file is a stock file for you to learn and practice with, I don't know what vehicle the asdu.9574 was used for.

Plan on a few hours of of homework with TunerPro RT.
