Yeah I did and I do have an android table, but 1. I don't remember if it has bluetooth, 2 I'm seeing what other options there are before I commit to buying it and the hardware.

As far as something that reads tunerpro defs I think that's about it. ive made a linux framework with such things in mind; but direct adx conversion and fancy display modes arent done yet.

While the idea of the Tunerview is great, I wouldn't buy it again, based on my experience with the developer (JR, HRTuning, not Moates), and his less than enthusiastic responses to suggestions and issues...

ALDLDroid is a much better application, due to it's customizability, the information it can log and what it does. The only advantage to the TV over ALDLDroid is that the TV is really a part of the car and will power up with the car, like a gauge. I don't know of a way to do this with ALDLDroid.

Yeah I searched more on the forums and saw your review on it.

aldldroid could do this

a low power sleep mode that just tries to connect with aldl every x seconds, and sleeps if it fails. wakes screen up with a notify if it succeeds

on ecms that provide idle traffic, it could just listen for that.

my aldl software does that and it worked great, basically just polls for ecm connectivity

im sure you could talk the aldldroid developer into it.
