Hello all.
first, let me thank you all for this great forum.
ive been lurking for a couple of years as I had dreams of doing an engine swap and adding efi to my old Willys cj5.
what a great community this is, and incredible information!
you all are appreciated!
well-great news! The running gear has been changed and the beast runs, now it's time to get it running correctly.
1960 Willys CJ5
Reman Buick 231
SM420 4 speed
reman Dana18 transfer Case
JY tbi, ECM, harness from 1990 c10 (747 ECM)
i do already have a few hundred miles on it in all but the most difficult crawling environments. She gets on down the road, but not without a few minor bugs to work out.
