My name is Bob. I heard about this site from a truck forum I am on. I was recently re-visiting an EFI swap I was considering a while ago, TPI on my '79 K20. Currently it is the completely stock 400 sbc. I figured with TPI, this could be a very nice torque oriented motor. I had been looking into the "new" self-learning systems available, but the all GM parts swap way is looking better price-wise and parts availability-wise. After just a short cruise around the site, I realize just how little I know! I also am tossing around an LSx swap into a '62 Nova Vert. and keeping it EFI, so I am sure this site might come into play for that in the future also. I will probably troll around for a while, as I have virtually nothing to do my TPI swap. Thanks for having me!

Pic of the truck for those that are curious...

:welcome:

Nice looking truck.

TPI is a nice system. TBI is a good EFI system at a lower cost than TPI. TBI is easier to install than TPI, and some might comment TBI is easier to learn than TPI.
