Dynamic EBl is throwing a code 43, ses light is coming on after engine is started. I have checked all the connections and don't really know which way to go from there. The engine is a LT1 with carb intake and pieced together TBI. If I remember correctly the sensor and esc are from s 95 350 tbi engine. Any help would be appreciated.

For troubleshooting purposes, I would consider disabling ESC.

Usually, the knock sensor resistance for the EBL system is 100K with an external ESC module. Usually the 95 TBI engine has a knock sensor with a resistance of 4K, with the ESC circuit inside the MEMCAL.

Thanks Dave.
I found the cause of the sudden SES light code 43, self inflected problem. LOL! I had unpinned several wires from the ab connector on the ecm several weeks ago to untangle some wiring and installed the esc wire in the wrong slot. The ebl flash ecm has the wire going to the B7 slot, I installed it on the B8 slot. I used the wrong drawings, ebl p4 drawing shows the wire going to the B8 slot. Duhhh.
After reading your reply I wonder what esc and sensor I have and if they are a match? What year and model would i need to get a esc and sensor to match the ebl flash ecm?

I'm not sure, maybe inquire with EBL directly.

Mike327, did you get an answer, I'm switching to EBL and I have the knock sensor from 1992 k1500 5.7L? I'll put an ohmmeter across it. Of course I didn't read the rules is it ok to jump on someone's thread like that?
