Getting ready to install my exhaust on the Burb. The driver side long tube header have a spot for an O2 sensor, and the passenger side mid pipe will be getting a bung for my WBO2.

So I thinking, run a heated NBO2 in the header and run it to the ECM, and the WBO2 in the mid pipe for the gauge. However, the WBO2 has a NBO2 simulator output.

Soooo... what would be the better option for the ECM? A real, heated NBO2 in the header, or use the simulator the feed the ECM?

narrowband sim never works good just keep using the heated narrowband

Keep the NBO2 sensor. A NBO2 has a curve output (kind of an S-curve) and most of the WBO2 modules seem to simulate the curve using a straight line with a steep slope. So, the simulated is not exactly the same output signal and that can cause problems with the ECM.
