The 1227730 was used in many applications, including J-bodies (Cavalier and Sunbird), F-bodies (Camaro and Firebird) and others.
There are many code masks used in this ECM depending on the application.
$A1 and $88 were used with many FWD 6 cylinder applications.
$8D was used in RWD applications most commonly in the F-body.

1987-1989 2.8L V6 MPFI
1988-1994 3.1L V6 MPFI
1990-1992 5.0L V8 TPI
1990-1992 5.7L V8 TPI

Many of the bin files used in this ECM can be used in the 1227749 (http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/showthread.php?331-1227749-ECM-information) and 1227727 (http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/showthread.php?332-1227727-ECM-information) as well.
There is a modified code for this ECM based on the V8 code of $8D. Most specifically the BIN file of AUJP was the starting point and turned into what is called S_AUJP (Super_AUJP), that includes many enhancements, including extended VE tables, WBO2 datalogging and other additions. *more info will be added and files*
