Or equivilant. Only been into an auto trans once back in 1998. Need to rebuild the original BRF trans from the GN, i'd like to get an FSM or equiv to guide me through the rebuild.

Thanks!

I have 2004R GM manuals. Not willing to part with them but willing to scan some pages.

http://www.gnttype.org/forums/showthread.php?t=9724
http://www.ckperformance.com/resources/GM2004RTECHNICALMANUAL.html
http://www.jakesperformance.com/200-4R_Rebuild_Tech.html

These guys can get most of the parts you need:
http://www.transtar1.com/catalogs.asp
The domestic GM catalog shows parts on P. 16: http://www.transtar1.com/catDownload.asp?ID=1137

These guys are listing an original GM manual for cheap $$
http://straighttalkautomotive.com/ebooks/gm/transmission/gm-200-4r-auto-transmission.html

The books were originally available from MSX International.
MSX International
1425 Pacific Dr.
Auburn Hills, MI 48326
Phone (800) 393-4831
Fax (248)377-1510

They have a web site at http://www.msxi.com but there are no online order forms so you'll probably end up contacting them directly. You could use the GM number from the book listed above as a starting point: 17001.09-1

This is not a factory manual, but a ton of good information.

Thanks! Every little bit helps!

Shannen, have you been through the CK performance book? Is it even worth the $65 price?

I haven't seen the book but guys that I respect have told me it's good. Is it worth the $$? Hard to say. You could probably find all the same information on gnttype.org if you wanted to look around.

That pdf above is a good reference if you don't have anything else.
