BLM at 108 and IDC at 400%?

Hi, first post here. I am in the process of getting into tuning on my 88' tbi chevy truck with a 383 and rv cam. It was running lean so I modified the stock fpr to get 15psi and threw in the 90lb red top injectors. I haven't chipped the computer yet as I thought getting a baseline on the stock setup would be a good idea. so with tunerpro rt and an ALDL cable, I am getting BLMs anywhere from 108 to 123 and IDC from 110% to 400%. Does this sound right? I got the .bin .xtf and the .adx from this site here (http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/showthread.php?304-1227747-ECM-Information-42). The ALDL cable is from moates and I have it switched to open mode (not 10K ohm). Any help or explanation would be greatly appreciated.

I think the first thing to do would be adjust the Base Pulse Width (BPW) in the .bin file for a 383 with 90 lb injectors. Another option would be set the fuel pressure to about 9 psi with 90 lb injectors to see if the BLM's get above 108?

So I would need to chip my ecm and burn a bin with this change to see correct IDC#s?

Yes, a chip would need to be burned to change the BPW. Once the BPW is close +/- 3, the IDC# will become reliable data.

If this is the 1227747 $42 files? You need to apply the BPW and Spark Advance Patch to a bin, then run that bin and data log to see accurate BPW times and IDC and Spark Advance. The patch puts those things into data stream instead of useless info

if you have the latest version of the 42 mask, it will tell you how in the notes near the top of the scalars, BPW hack, Spark advance hack and TPS hack are all up there together. but dont do the TPS hack, as it will cause false knocks.

Ah Ha! this makes more sense now, guess i didn't have the newest xdf. This new one I pulled definitely gives me more options and is more organized and user friendly! Thanks for your help.
