Search for posts by user only returns threads started by user

Did I miss something? I was looking for my posts relating to 7427 cals as I thought I mentioned one with a 700R4 but searching for 1project2many returns only threads I've started.

Go to the "Single Content Type" search tab, then enter the user name you wish to search. Click "Exact match" (this part may or may not actually be needed but worked when I just tried), then click search, or you can narrow down to a specific forum as well, by using the forum menu.

No, it's not, I hope there is some way to havethe default to "search by single content type." I have no idea why anyone would use the other tab...

Been looking into that. The Multiple content type does not work right at all. Even if set same as single to posts it does not find the post. Actually nothing in search finds posts? Just threads.
