Nice work on the TBI adapter and ECM cover!

The attached screen shots are of a spread bore adapter I designed is CAD. The design has been improved, but I don't have any screen shots of the new design. I have not had the opportunity to have the spread bore adapter I've designed CNC machined yet.

I've designed and made a similar ECM TBI cover to one you pictured.

just installed a big block tbi unit.and she likes it,clutch not so much.still thinking my cam is a little off for my setup.its going great though.a good friend of mine gave me the tbi.his car builder gave it to him and said it was a easy 70 hp bolt on.he ended up giving it to me. because i was more involved and his stock engine wasn't going to work well.7351i used the fuel pod from my original setup.i have a shim under the pressure spring to bring it to 16lbs.i am a little rich in the lower map area.could i be having fuel dropout at lower rpms?im thinking of making a spacer.

70 HP.....No other changes....NOT AT ALL CLOSE!!! A 350 @ 5,500 rpm and 100% VE is only 557 CFM. With the mild cam you have and Vortec heads, your engine will be done by 5,000-5,500 rpm. An engine built to that specification will be lucky to have a 90% VE. 90% VE on a 350 at 5,500 rpm is only 500 CFM. A small block TBI with TBI mods is about 540 cfm @ 1.5 in/hg and an untouched small block TBI is 490 cfm. With wet flow the CFM decreases about 6-8% or so.

this is setup was defiantly a lets see what happens deal.now that i seen this side of efi. instead of just diagnose and replace.i have started gathering parts for my 78 z28,and another truck engine.this pickup had been sitting for six years.the cam went out and a head gasket,cracked heads.so i set it aside do to life happenings.then i really needed it in a hurry,so i had an engine i acquired for labor trade.was in way better shape than the original.so i bought cheap re-ring kit with cam bearings and cam(good deal),ha.back in the day you could do that.the only thing this kit had that fit was main bearing, rings,gaskets.no rod bearings ,but a big block gasket set.wrong cam bearings wrong cam.at least they sent new ones except the cam.they didn't want the gaskets back,or any thing else.the heads where bad on this block to,but i had some vortec heads from a bad engine my neighbor had.i cleaned out the intake and exhaust ports a little to smooth them out (i seen some info on the exhaust ports on line a few times) now i wished i could have bored the block and bought a roller cam.i have added headers since.if this allow a will be building two new ones in the future.i thinking about a 383 for both.does anyone have recommendation for cams for a nv4500 transmission?

being a newbie.this 299/$99 ecm looks to be more simplified than some other ecms.can someone enlighten me on iac operation.it seems like it idles high for an extended time,settles down slow.if i lug it around it will idle high and stay until i shut it off then restart then it settles back down to set idle.no vacuum leaks.the iac counts are high to.it usually shows 750 as desired idle but idles about 1000 - 1200.i have reset the iac, and set the base idle.if revved up it idles down slowly.have tried different iac motors.
does this have anything to do with iac steps vs coolant temp?
lacking some timing table experience to.
