BHMH is a 5.0L Auto from CAL.

AKIH does not exist but if that is that AKTW in the picture? It's a 5.0L auto from CAL that was Superceeded.

Prices are pretty high for stuff we normally give away for shipping cost and a six pack to people who need it around here... :rolleye:

Fixed.
Is this more in line with reality?

All three modules VSSB/DRAC now have been fitted with dip pin headers.

PM me a price for all four memcals and the chip and netres chip.

VSSB/Dracs with dip pin headers I don't need but they work well that way for anyone who needs one. Just to let them know with dip switch you can set it for any combo to be accurate MPH.

I just came into a bunch of 2732a eproms also.

Just to put this out there, I have about 15-20 DRAC modules of varying codes (QWB,etc) I'll let go for shipping cost. I run a trans shop and don't see as many of these failing as we used to lol.

Tough crowd here, just looking for a way to get into the mix with what I can offer.
The modded buffers are pretty darn useful for engine changouts/tire/gearing changes.

(NOS HP 1978 issue) :)I have no need for chips as I always use brand new ones. But I'm always looking for more of the black holders if you want to sell them?

iscout62,
Hey I'm looking to replace my QWB 16158975 DRAC as it's screwing the speedometer, ABS and ECM. I would love to see what you still have. Thanks.

buddrow,
I'd love to see what you have as well.

Also, if anyone has access to the values of the components in the DRAC modules, I'd love to get my hands at that as well. I would love to be able to rebuild these suckers.

If you still have some DRAC modules I would like to get one from you if possible. I tried modifying mine with a 7 pin DIP switch (8 pin but 7 pins used) but I could not adjust out the speed enough, so thinking that maybe mine is not working right. I replaced the VSS (cheap cost) but speedometer readings stayed the same. I read that the ground could be an issue but checked it and it looked good, no corrosion (actually it is a double ground). It is for a 92 Suburban K2500 454 engine with TBI. The module I have has the 7 jumpers instead of the 2 rows of jumpers.

I have a 92 suburban 2500. Having issues with speedometer dying after 2-5 miles driven. Have tried replacing speed sensor ... not fixing the issue. Thinking need a drac but we can't find one. The so hasn't turn it out yet but told me I'd need one that works for a 17 bolt pan tranny. It's got the 5.7 V8. Do you have one that will fit? Do you need more information? This is my shop, my husband and I's first time dealing with this drac part and aren't having any luck finding one to buy to try and replace.

Is the torque converter clutch still coming on after the speedo dies?
If not you need to verify the vss signal is getting to the DRAC from the sensor using a DVOM is fine set to AC volts. Voltage should increase from 0vAC to ~100vAC.

If the TCC is working then the DRAC is fine and you just have a instrument(speedo) issue.

If the DRAC is failing, get the 3 digit code from the DRAC itself, it will be something like QWB, PLK, etc in big bold black letters on a sticker attached the the DRAC.

Check these things and report back.

interested in a DRAC, regardless of the source. i'll be modifying it for DIP switches anyways, so exact unit really wouldn't matter.

is there a reason to choose between the early and late unit?

Looking for DRAC to modify with dipswitches. If you have any left let me know. Thanks.
