Hello guys I am trying to see how my cavalier is running and am having a difficult time trying to figure out what files I need to do so. The chip n my ecu is stamped with ATMF. After looking at the tables I get this information.

Here is a good place to start...http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/showthread.php?392-1227730-16197128-ECM-Information-88

Download the files below for TunerPro RT to work with the ALDL cable.

Ok so I set it up using the instructions found from the TP site. I clicked Test For Valid Interface Using Settings to make sure the correct com port was selected and it says "Successful" however when I connect it to my car and tell it to "connect" nothing happens. Any input?

I'm wondering how the set up was done for the ALDL cable? The USB driver is on the CD / DVD that came with the cable? Maybe try a different com port Com 1, Com2, .... Com10 .... Com who knows what number works? Stop data logging if the connection fails, then try a different Com Port number.

Still nothing

Maybe you can send me a PM with a phone #, and time we can talk tomorrow afternoon? I'll need you to be with the vehicle and have the laptop connected when we are on the phone.

I'm thinking $88 is F body Camaro only. Try looking up your files here:

I looked up the files and it does show a different file for a 90-93 Jb however I have the 1227730 ecm. I did a 5 speed swap and took the ecm from a 90 z24 with the 3.1

The ATMF chip says it's an $88 so I was wrong. But the ADX for data could be different if not a F body/Camaro. Just an idea why your not getting data...

The TeamViewer download http://www.teamviewer.com/en/index.aspx?pid=google.tv.s.us&gclid=CJzWv-CH1rsCFc6TfgodLRwA2g made it possible! Being able to share control of your laptop is an excellent way to get things working!

Thanks Dave for the link. Most of my computer customers are 120 miles away, and I can't always drive to their house. This will help. I have used other software, but the trial ran out.

I've used Mikogo in the past http://www.mikogo.com/product/what-is-mikogo/ This was my first experience with TeamViewer.
