I've been reading discussion on the diesels,so when I got a chance to pick up an ECM from a 6.5 I grabbed it.
I took the case off,hoping to find a removable chip-but no dice.
In case anyone is interested,here is the board pics. Let me know if you need more or something else.
If by chance someone makes an XDF or VDF please let me know,been meaning to get one from another source.
(this ecm is also currently for sale on ebay along with 7 other 94/95 ecm's if you wanna search username "Peaches0172001" )

If someone is working on these just let me know how I can help if at all.

U16 = E87J = Motorola 68HC11F1.
U17 is the flash PROM, but i can't read the numbers off.

apparently, that is the module used for 96-02.

If the numbers from U17 would help,it will only take a minute to yank it back apart again.
Kinda thought it was one of the big ones,so didn't worry about the smaller one-oops.
I'll post another pic in a bit.

The flash chip actually has the word flash on the top.

That ecm doesn't look like what's in our vans.

That looks very familiar to me. The Flash chip is a PLC32. I have one in front of me
