I am having troubles connecting to a 16149396 $DF '93 3400 TDC/DOHC ECM. TP goes into a flashing red/blue on the connect status box

I am using the .ADX from the forum. http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/showthread.php?381-16149396-ECM-Information-DF I have also tried other versions of the 9396 .ADX files. The forum version goes red/blue. The other versions just stay 'connecting'.

I tried this on a 16149396 ECM from a '91 3.1 and got the same results.

In looking at troubleshooting this I tried on Real Term sending in hex

Hmmm? Not sure? With the way it was titled, "$DF-16149396-V1.adx" I have worked on it for someone and it would have to work for me to re-title and put in the thread...

Well I can take a look at the mapping out of the parameters ect, but where I am stuck is on it not connecting at all. What is it that TunerPro RT is looking for for it to connect?

Same results as the one on the board. I am going to re-examine wiring here and I will get back to you.

Thanks for the help.

..... what calibration is in that PCM? i wonder if someone swapped a 9396 in place of a 7727 but kept a non-DF MEMCAL in it.

I'm hooking up good now. One of the grounds was missing.

Thanks for the help!
