Hi guys. A little bit about myself. My name's Doug I'm 53 years old and I live in So. IL. How I got interested in attempting to tune these fuel injected cars is beyond me but I've been into cars since I was about 15 years old. I guess the technology is what amazes me compared to what the old school carbs can (or can't ...) do. I'm currently building a 66 C10 pickup (hence, the screen name LoL) with a 383 that is based on the 89 MAF F-body TPI. Notice I said *based on* ... Not much is left of the stock system except the ecm really and the sensors that control it. Running an Accel SuperRam plenum, runners, and base along with 30# injectors, AFPR, and 58mm Holley throttle body. Engine wise it's a 9.8-1 383 with AFR 190 (non-Eliminator) heads and a Comp Cams 280 XFI (230*/236* @ .050" 113* LSA) hydraulic roller. I hope to have it in the truck by summers end so I can start tuning this thing. If it works out right, it might end up as my daily driver.
