I got my Burn2 in the mail today, got the the drivers all installed correctly and installed Flash and Burn. Then wanted to read some old chips I have.
The problem I am having is when after I read the chip and save the file I open it up in TunerPro and the tables all read 0's.

Any Suggestion on what I am doing wrong?

Never mind I just figured it out.
I wasn't setting the Buffer Addressing

First thing that popped in my head was the XDF or bin definition. If you do not have the correct one selected you get nothing.

2nd thing, are you sure you placed the chip in the burn2 correctly? If you hold the burn2 to where the usb port is pointing away from you the chip needs to be all the way at the end closest to you and the notch in one end of the chip pointed the same way as the usb port.

Remember the buffers will change from stock chip to 27FS512 when you install the G2. Here they are:

Okay Thanks

When I got home today and pulled out of the mail box, I was excited to mess with it. I had about 4 chips here so I read all the bins, saved them and have been comparing them to one another on TunerPro.
Pretty Cool so far!

Pretty cool feeling when you get that to work, eh?

I still get excited sometimes when I read an EPROM. :scare:

What bins did you have? We may need them?

Lots, mostly FWD 60 degree V6 stuff though. I really should go through them all and see what I might have that may not be here.

I meant devind... you know where to put yours.

I've been uploading all my new ones for months and finally caught up... except about 700 OBDII files that were donated that need to be titled...
