I am curious of this remote tuning? How does that work?

It can work quite well...if you choose the right tuner. There are places/"tuners" to stay away from though so beware. The gentlemen here are great guys and very helpful if you want to learn. You should check in here first http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/forumdisplay.php?9-Introductions. Then maybe start a thread or read through some of the existing threads and get an idea of what all goes on.
