I have a friend that is wanting to get some more out of his old Ford truck. The strategy code on the EEC is D0X1. I would really like to help him out with this but I can not find any support for it. I have messed with an old 89 foxbody running A9L in the past. I used BE to mod the tuning then used Tunerpro to right the chip.

He said he may want to put a Turbo on it at some point.

The truck has really small injectors, 12 PPH. He would like to start by installing a 302 TB, and installing bigger injectors. I have some old stock LT1 injectors that he is going to try, they will be 27 PPH on the truck becasue it has almost 60 PSI on fuel pressure.

i have owned many 300s, NA you want a max of the 19 lb pph from the 302 and even then thats plenty unless he plans to rev that motor to the sky with boost, 19 will be perfectly fine, use the quarterhorse as thats your best option on that pcm, its located around the brake pedal assembly, that motor is really struggling with air, 4 pounds acts very differently than 4 pounds on a v8 like the 302, make shure you have a transmission that will handle the low end torque the motor puts out
