:welcome2:

You need TunerPro, then the ADX and XDF file from this thread:
http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/showthread.php?335-16188051-and-16181333-PCM-Information-EE-EEB

TunerPro Tutorial:

And installing the cable:

No, that was just the bin file used in Tutorial. Your bin file is what you read from your PCM. Neither XDF or bin is needed to connect to data. Just ADX.

Again thanks for all the help you have given me. getting this started has been a nightmare or i have been overthinking it.

If you are only wanting to look at the datastream, and see it in a useful way, you only need to load the .ADX.

The bin file is the file on chip or read from your PCM. The XDF is used to change it.

ADX is to read data

And as soon as you know it all? You realize there's so much more!

thanks for that one. im just trying to get everything to work correctly it looks like i have to spend about $200 for a program to put into my car so that is my next step i guess seeing as i need to change the tune i cant find any and i have to pay someone to put it in. it is a neverending cycle i guess

What $200 program?

TunerCat works fine. The Winflash program is what reads and write the file to the PCM. WinFlash is only $20.

To data log you need TunerPro RT! Regular TunerPro only does the bin file editing.
