so im a newbie to all of this i have a 2000 s10 that i have just swapped a 0411 into. i have a few issues right now the first being the tach semes to read about half of what it should be, i thing that could be fixed by going into tuner pro and adjusting the tach settings. the second main issue i am having is that the trans short shifts no matter how much throttle i give it always shifts short. i was looking at the tables in tune pro and they all look to be original and look how i would expect them to. is there something i am missing wiring wise? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the scanner show accurate mph while driving and also the TPS?

update: i found out i miss pinned the 5 volt ref and the prndl. i found that out when i hooked up my tech 2 and it read my tps and map had 0 volts on the ref rail. swapped the 2 wires and that fixed the shifting and the prndl!. The truck runs excelent now. the other issue is i am trying to get the tach reading right. i get a list of options in tuner pro for the tach which i will attach. i get options for 12, 6, 4, 3, 2, and 1 pulses for the tach. the closest setting i can get to the acccual rpm is 12 pulses. now if i have it set to 12 pulses it still reads low but not as low as say 6 or 4 pulses. is there any way to set it above 12 pulses as it seemes 12 is alot closer than say 6 pulses.19962

I do not see why the tach would be off. I have never seen it come out of anything but the ignition coil on the older Vortecs. When I swapped my 1999 Tahoe the tach worked the same as stock.

i am using 12202088 os which if i am correct the 01 s10 used. is there a difference in gauge clusters from 2000 to 2001? maybe i am missing something hardware wise?
