Hi,

Are there any good tutorials on the AE functions for the 7427? I read the existing paper on the earlier ECUs, but I can't equate the parameters in the early ECU to the information in the 7427.

Basically I'm needing to extend the AE under harder acceleration. If I was tuning a carb, I would be changing the accelerator pump cam to give me a longer duration shot. I've got my VE in very good shape now, and even have my PE working well. Under medium acceleration from a stop I get a hesitation, and when I'm watching the dash it coincides with the end of the AE cycle. Reading through all of the AE parameters and tables I can't figure out which one controls the length of the AE function.

Thanks. They are tuning PE in that thread, and I'm working on AE. I actually have my PE working pretty well right now.

That's the document that I referred to in my first post. It was based on (I believe) a 7730, which is very different than the 7427.
