I am about to start down the path of tuning my Alpha. Is there anyone willing to help identifying the ECM in these vehicles? The '08 Alpha's with the GenIV 5.3L LH8 engines, I believe, use a different ECM than the I5 units. Is it a P59? Or something different? Not my first time tuning as I tuned my '94 Corvette with some solid success. Here is where I need help so I don't end up wayyyy down a wrong path:

1 Using TunerPro RT
2. Using PCM Hammer
3. Using PCM Logger
4. Going to order an OBDLink-EX to connect to the OBDII port

Please advise if these are right or wrong or could be better choices.

Please help identify my ECM.

P59?
Something else?

Suggestions for baseline .bin files?
Calibration ID's are:
12618588,12619152, 12619150, 12919154, 12621408, 126191146, 12618165, and 126201168

Suggestions for an .xdf file?
If I can't find one, I was thinking of going to OldSkullTuning and paying them to write one. Thoughts?

The help is greatly appreciated in advance.

The easiest would be a picture of the ECM/PCM. The last '08 Hummer I did was an E38 and PCM Hammer can't do those yet as they are CAN based and not VPW

Thanks much for your reply! I will pull it after work tomorrow and take a pic.
