I have been turning wrenches for years now, and have been in the land of big blocks and carbs. Was convinced that computers and fuel injection is what was wrong with America these days, lol. Well, obviously, fuel injection and computers didn't go anywhere. And all jokes aside, I'm not that ancient that I haven't already accepted this. I have a knack for being able to figure out car problems and all my gear head buddies come to me when they are stumped. Well, one came to me recently and referred to me as the "Mad Scientist" and asked me to tune his LT1 if he bought me the ALDL cable. I agreed. I didn't know how in depth that was going to be and I am humbled. I'm impressed with the work this community has done in this area and I look forward to learning as I dive in deeper. Thanks for having me.

Cars/Trucks currently include:
94 Z28 with LT1 383 build
91 C1500 - 350/NV3500
92 K1500 - 350/700R4
94 K2500 - 454/NV4500
plus a van and a trailblazer...

You're very lucky that you're getting into $EE now. The tools at your disposal for this PCM are insanely robust compared to just a few years ago, and much more robust than most available tools for GM EFI systems generally. steveo is the real mad scientist in that regard, his work on datalogging, flashing, and analyzing data from $EE is freakin' amazing.

Best of luck to ya!
