Hello. New to EFI glad to be here. Like the picture on this page hop to be there soon and hope you have a good spell checker.
Anyways I love building Hot Rods Cars or Bikes and this looks like a good place to move from Carbs to EFI.
To all the Vets. Thanks for your services.

Hey Dave. Thanks. Love FL use to live there. I need to back up and give you some History on me. Ill try not to bore you and get to far in the weeds. I grew in the 50s and 60s the Carb years and that's how I build my engines and that's the tuning I learned so I don't know the EFI systems but I know they can be tuned using software.Times have changed and I need to catch up. If I ran across A Harley Engine or a Cage Engine ( Car / Truck ) That was EFI I would turn it back to Carb. Basically I want to be a EFI tuner. I'm building a tuning bench and learning the software and terminology so I can ask questions that make sense. Any help with a bench setup ( Software, Cables, ect. would be a great help OBD2 ) Ill be doing Chevy Small Blocks. Like I said I love building Hot Rods Bikes or Cages and I'm willing to put the time in it to learn.
Thanks..........

The gearhead-efi OBD2 section has information for Software, Cables, ect. : http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/forumdisplay.php?32-OBDII-Tuning
The "Sticky" Threads are very helpful.

PCM Hammer is a tool that can Read / Write to some OBD2 EFI computers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4TybWavYW4
