Hey, all! Starting to delve into the GM EFI world. I have tuned stand alone ECUs before but a newbie in the world of breaking into OEM ECUs.

Can someone direct me to a thread that has the steps to get into the ECU/PCM without bricking it?

I have a PCM from a 2000 Sierra 4.8 Canada build. I have a 5.3 LM7, what else? I need to install the correct tune for 5.3 liters and set it up for the VATS, deleted components and manual trans.

I do not have an interface yet, was thinking getting the OBDLink LX. Recommendations appreciated.
