BCM Tuning/reprogramming?

is it possible to reprogram a GM BCM? removing abs, airbag notifications etc? and if so what cable can you use? sorry if its a noob question thanks in advance

If you're looking for stock programming, that can be accomplished using GM SPS. Custom tuning is possible but there are very few people with the knowledge. Depending on your model, there used to be someone on the Grand Prix forums that was doing pretty neat stuff including custom DLC messages. I'll try to find more info today if you're interested.
