Hello, as stated before I have 2 LT1s one is a 97 out of a TA. TA one has cut wires, no relays, no fuse box. The other LT1 is supposedly from a Roadmaster but the PCM has Fleetwood wrote on it, again cut wires, no relays or fuse box. To make the job easier I recently picked up a 100% complete un cut 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood limousine that has all relays, fuse box, etc. After looking here at Gearhead, thirdgen.org, google lt1swap.com, etc I can not find any info on the Fleetwood harness as far as what wires to supply power / ground to, to make it run (other than black and white schematics, which I’m not good at reading). It is my understanding the Fleetwood is a D body and it’s engine harness has different connectors, wiring layout, etc than a F body (Camaro, TA), Y body (Corvette), B body (Caprice, Impala, Roadmaster) so all the info I find on the mentioned websites so far has not applied to the Caddy LT1. Surely plenty of people have used the ‘94-‘96 Fleetwood LT1s in their swaps..if so, where did you find the info as to what wires go where? As of now I do not know what vehicle I will swap the Cadillac LT1 into as I would first like to get the wiring side of the LT1 covered. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. I hope my message comes across correctly as I am not wanting spoon fed, just pointed in the right direction. Thanks

Unfortunately the D-car Factory Service Manual is unique and distinct from the B-car FSM.
Although, I'd not be surprised if the LT1 & 4L60E wirings are exactly the same, because every LT1 & 4L60E connector is the same.
As regards the steering, 4Channel ABS & Traction Control (foot fighter), and other Caddy exclusive features, can't speak to those.

critical wiring itself is all the same and will plug in and work. some things will vary. d-body probably has an egr position sensor unused on the f-body engine. 1997 engine has a crank sensor that is unused on earlier models. the 1997 coil and opti harnesses are different from the 1994, but you could easily just move parts from the donor engine. the location of the ECM as well as where the connector that goes through the firewall is likely different. knock sensor count and location could be different.

best approach is just lay the harness you like over the engine you like and deal with it. if something doesn't reach, strip back insulation and retape it so it reaches. if connector doesn't match steal one from donor harness.

this will be helpful

As of now I do not know what vehicle I will swap the Cadillac LT1 into as I would first like to get the wiring side of the LT1 covered.steveo linked to an F-car info site. You probably already noticed the lack of info regarding the D-car.
The D-car LT1 & 4L60E is near as makes no difference a B-car LT1 & 4L60E.
If you cannot find any info on the Fleetwood harness, the similarities between the D-car harness & the B-car harness FAR outweigh the differences, so far as powertrain and emissions are concerned.
It may be necessary to think of your Fleetwood powertrain as a B-car powertrain, because that's far and away the closest comparison.
A Fleetwood, ultimately, IS a longer Caprice.
