Hey everyone! New to this forum. I have a 96 Corvette motor/4L60E trans in a 1954 Chevy pickup. It’s already running as a 95 with MAF removed, all the smog stuff removed. I did some work to it (ported, polished heads. Ported intake. Mild cam. 1.6 roller rockers). Now I need to re-tune my computer. Any and all tips and tricks will be appreciated. I have the ALDL cable and planning on running TunerPro or TunerCat. Thanks Tim

You should check out ecmhack.com if you are using the vet pcm.

A user here called steveo maintains that site and has a lot of tools for fbody cars.

If it runs and starts, I recommend you keep it simple.
First is only change injector size if different than stock.
Then tune ve
Then possibly MAF curve.
Then consider spark curve.
Then touch up ve if needed.

Anything other than that should be changed only to solve an issue.

Always save as and give a different file name for your changes. Do that as soon as you open your file and tunerpro will make text file documenting the changes made. Then if you make a mistake you can easily go back a step.

Tuning is several log then tune and repeat. How many times will depend on how far out of tune it is, and if you have a wideband o2
