So I worked out deal for my nephew on a '94 V2500 Suburban that has the 7.4l with the Whipple Supercharger kit installed. I nearly bought a Whipple kit a while back for the 5.7l in my '91 V2500 Burb but passed because it was missing the tune. I'd like to pull the .bin off of it to make it available to everyone here (as long as it's legal?) but I don't know how. I have an Autoprom but that's about it.

Welcome to the world of "old tech" now. I'm not sure how much experience you have with this stuff. The autoprom will read the chip provided you have an adapter to plug in the memcal. This tool allows the GM memcal to plug into an eprom burner: http://www.moates.net/hdr1-memcal-header-p-52.html?cPath=64 . In the old days we would use a modified IDE or SCSI header with long legs on the board side and bend the legs so they would fit in the reader. I can't even find a header like that now.

Here's a very grassroots approach to making an adapter. It works although I'm pretty sure that my fat fingers would mess it up.
