Bone stock 1993 C1500 305/4l60E 16168625 BDFK

Trying to get Tunerpro set up for this truck. I've been searching all the sites I can find for the Bin for this ECU with no luck. Anyone know where to get one..or am I S.O.L and need to buy the equipment to read my stock file?

I looked through my crapola and I don't have that file. When you get a chance to read that file, please post it so we can archive it. Thanks

well you could probably read the file over the aldl port with my flashhack tool.

i am pretty sure that ECM uses device F4 and is 64KB

ALDL universal read tool

go to the paramters tab

set device ID to F4
memory size 10000
read start 0000
read end FFFF

go back to operations tab

press read calibration

Thanks a lot! Any way to add that to this thread with the other bins?

Why isn't there a mask ID? I'm assuming since its a 8625 any of the known masks for those should work?

Mask ID for BDFK is E6 or $E6, which is defined in the .bin file.

The Mask ID shown by Bithoist isn't read from the .bin. The Mask ID is determined by looking at the locations of specific tables then matching them up to a template of sorts. The ID Byte is read from the file. This allows a calibration which has had the Mask ID set to $AA to potentially be identified correctly.

Here's Ludis's comments: "This version knows about 131 different masks, plus 44 mask ROMs (26 C3
ECM's worth). For all except six of the masks, BitHoist checks much of
the PROM image for a specific bit pattern. If this doesn't match, then
the PROM is not considered to be of that mask. BitHoist can also spot
388 "stock" chips.'
