power hungry, eh? you changed a lot of stuff. 70lb injectors are huge, are you really planning on needing that much fuel?
do you use a wideband?
do you have logs?
is it mostly lean surging off boost? how does it run loaded and in boost?

I do have a few logs I have everything to real time tune and burn chips I do have a wide band 02 sensor Got those big injectors because I bought 60 Simmons and the car floated so bad it wouldn't run Plus everybody said go ahead and get 80 pound injectors That they would be easier to tune After doing quite a bit of more reading it looks like my KPA
over a 100 could be a lot of my issues need 2 bar map maybe or to learn to tune in PE any thoughts might of had enough power if I'd known that not reading over 100 kpa let me know what you think I should do thanks

oh wait, you're still running a 1 bar map?

that wont work, not at all, and definitely not with speed density

are you running some other method of increasing fuel in boost?

assuming you are near sea level, atmospheric pressure is 100kpa-ish which is 1 bar in other words it cant read any boost.

you need a 2 or 3 bar map if you want to tune your fuel or spark in boost

then you need to resize any table or value that uses MAP by 1/2 (2 bar) or 1/3rd (3 bar)

2 bar is okay up to 15psi although you can reach a bit higher if you just run your 200kpa column rich enough to handle a bit of extra boost

if you're aiming for 15-20psi you need a 3 bar map sensor

oh and as far as power enrichment goes you have some options, but it's the final fueling outcome that matters. you can't be in closed loop during boost though, or you will blow a hole in something if your o2 sensor decides to pull you back to stoich, so setting things up so you are always in power enrichment when in boost would be good.

when i tune a boosted area on one of my cars, i let power enrichment handle the >50% throttle area and let the base table be a bit rich too, that way you have two 'in boost' fueling modes, one for lower throttle input, and one for higher with a bit of extra safety fuel.

if you aren't flooring it you can definitely get away with less fuel, that way it doesn't drink your tank dry because you're running a few pounds of boost while cruising up a hill at 30% throttle or whatever, since i live on the other side of a mountain, boost doesn't necessarily mean flooring it and loading it up.

i can explain more when you have the proper map sensor and have fixed up your base tables.

how much boost are you planning to run anyway?..

Thank you for the reply I'll try and give a little more information I had done a lot of reading before I started this upgrade I guess some how I missed that 2 bar MAP is a must I'll get a 2 bar today hopefully ok for boost I'd like to run about 12 psi it on 8 now and I have a boost controller installed already I must of read some bad info on SD tuning I'll get the 2 bar installed and get update my information on here looking forward to getting this thing into a beast Not to change subject but I have a 04 5.3 70mm turbo ranger that will chew this lt1 up and spit it out and 5.3 stock all but injectors its a bad ride but anyway thanks for all the help Laney
