I’ve been looking everywhere for an xdf for my 2005 5.3 so I can use tunerpro
and I finally found a thread on here saying to use an 2004 and it gave a link but when I click
the it is says “ forbidden 403 error” can anyone help me out? This is for a 1965 f100 ls swap by the way.
thanks

What PCM and what OS are you looking for . . . 7603??? The error you post above means the file you are looking for at that URL is no longer available. What transmission in the F100?

Yeah the OS im looking for is 7603. i guess im not sure what you mean about the PCM... i have many different ones i can choose from.
the F100 has a 5.3 with 4l80 and we have a 1966 c10 that has a 5.3 with 4l60. i have LS droid and tunerpro and obdlink. im trying to get this figured out for my friend that does all the work except for the computer side of things and hes planing on doing more swaps this summer. thanks

I Believe he was asking if 1meg or 512, basically p01 or p59, 0411, or ????

You Could Skip the XDF and try out Universal Patcher. Takes a little getting used to, some terminology is a little different
like instead of VATS for Vehicle Anti Theft System, its VTD for Vehicle Theft Deterrent.

But you can compare values of bins from different OS's, something you can't do with tuner pro.
If this is all swaps, you could configure a bin on a supported OS, for P01 or P59 depending on what you have, and have one for 4l60, one for 4l80, one for manual, and just use your starter bin on each swap regardless of what was originally in the PCM.

Hope that helps

Edit: Be aware that some Drive by Wire p59's do NOT have an IAC Driver and are reported to Brick if you flash a drive by cable file to them, due to unsupported hardware.

This is from the pcm I’m trying to write… I have a 2005 5.3 for it can it be done? Or should the swap donors just be 2003 or older?
