can 94-95 EE PCM use EGR for activation control feature ? i'm working on my safety features for nitrous and i was wondering if i can use it to control relay?
my idea was to set EGR Enable MIN MAP and EGR Enable/Disable Min/Max RPM as MAP/RPM activation window switch ?
there are also some other TPS, RPM and MPH Scalars i can use to make work only when needed.
Will it work?

best regards

No one, no input at all?

Not something I've looked at.
I don't see why not.
Go through all the settings and set the tables to what you need then log data & watch whatever outputs you have selected changing state.

Keep us in the loop & let us all know how you get on.

don't you want a switch for your window switch? the EGR isn't just opened or closed- its duty cycled. it might work if you force it to be only 0% or 100% somehow, but otherwise it doesn't seem like the right thing to use. it's possible that even if you force it to 100% immediately, there may be code for the EGR that filters your square wave to ensure the EGR opens/closes at a certain rate.
also i have not looked at the code for the EGR much but i bet there are conditions for its activation that, unless patched, will make it unreliable

... i definitely didn't intend to post that twice. the new forum software might be having some issues.

This is why i ask, You guys are far more advanced with this then i'm. Thought EGR is ON/OFF and use it to control relay. Yes I can buy RPM Windows witch but add another 100% of sell price just to get it here to Europe (shipping + taxes), is you add switch for speed, TPS and MAP it is a lot of modules to buy where's when I went thru EE it seems like EGR does all that. Did not know of PWM control. Well I'll log and install test light just to confirm and let you know but thanks for the input, will be helpful

There are PWM EGR valves and solenoid controlled EGR valves. You could hook up a LED to that pin to verify and it seems there should just be a bit setting to tell it whether it is discrete or PWM.
Steveo definitely knows better on the LT-1 stuff than I.

Egr is pwm I have palns to use it the egr solenoid to control venting through optispark, but no time yet to finish it. The solenoid just opens a vacuum line at a rate, and the vacuum moves a diafragm.

Whit so many not used input/outputs that are fully mapped, the better route will be to encode some custom patch, to do whatever you want.

you make it sound easy. i think you're the only one still around that understands EE enough to patch it without crashing.
