V6 to LT1 94-95 tach

is there any parameter in PCM (EE) that modifies signal so that V6 tach will show propper engine speed or is it only adding resistor to IP cluster ?

Cluster uses some preset frequency signal. Signal comes from ICM. No way to modify it. Need to change IP, or internally modify the v6 IP.

There is a resistor to change to modify the 6ppr to an 8ppr but for the life of me I can not remember it. I do have a 94 V8 cluster laying around I would be willing to part with before it becomes ruined.
