Tuner Pro RT works well for most applications with the correct .xdf files. I use it for data logging as well.

Tuner Pro RT reads BIN files but only those that are common and more importantly . . . that we have XDF definition files for use in editing those BIN files.

My bench harness is homebrew, much like most on this forum. You can find themfor sale, just make sure it has a minimum 13.6 volt 1 Amp power supply. Anything else and you will have headaches.
Tuner Pro and Tuner Pro Rt are free downloads bit a contribution to the creator is suggested.
I use LS Droid for reading and writing on the bench and TUNER Pro RT for data logging on both my OBD1 and OBD2 projects.
My 5.3,s both had the '7603 OS originally which has the most documented P59 .xdf.
